CLM-MLC CIRCULAR 3: Marianist Lay Communities, An International Community of Communities

Dear friends,

The latest Circular for our Marianist Lay Communities is now available online on our web-site at www.clm-mlc.org, on the DOCUMENTS pages. The topic of the Circular is our international reality. It discusses the gifts, the challenges, and the responsibilities of being part of a global spiritual family.

A big GRACIAS and MERCI to our faithful and generous translators, Izaskun Arias in Madrid and Mary Harvan Gorgette in Paris for providing the Spanish and French versions of the Circular. J

As always, the Circular is not meant to be a definitive statement on the topic. Our hope is that it will encourage pondering and dialogue on local, national and international levels. May we grow in our appreciation of being an International Community of Communities!

  1. Thank you so much, Eugene! Our International Team is elected by the Assembly at our International Meetings. We were elected at our last meeting in Nairobi, Kenya in 2009. The Assembly also votes on the ‘Challenges’ for the next four years. These Challenges determine the focus of our work for these four years. The Challenges for 2009-2013 can be found on the Documents page of our web-site at http://clm-mlc.org/english/documents. Please let me know when you have published your blog post. I will happily share it.

  2. Just today I read Circular #3. There is much to learn here. I intend to make a blog post on what I have learned. I have one question. “Our team is in the second half of our mandate”. Where can I find the original mandate. Great Job Isabella.
